Details: Job: Supervisors Team Leaders & Coordinators POSITION GOAL:Under the direction of the Wound Center Director, the Clinical Coordinator coordinates the total nursing care plans for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary departments and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. The RN works within the framework of the State Nurse Practice Act and follows both Wound Center and hospital policies and procedures. She/he complies with hospital and nursing philosophy and standards while performing job duties and responsibilities and will demonstrate competence in these key job areas through the ability to perform functions including by not limited to the utilization of skills in organization, planning, implementing, evaluating and providing care as essential job functions listed:• Reports to the Wound Center Director and Medical Director.• Interfaces with staff, patients, families, medical staff, administration, department managers and other departments.• Effective interpersonal relationships are essential.• Guides and directs the activities of other members of the health care team such as, unit clerks, licensed registered nurses, nurse technicians, and hyperbaric technicians.Supports and maintains the interdependent systems necessary to affect positive patient outcomes (policies, procedures, and standards).
