Editorial Assistant

Details: If you are looking to jumpstart or even just launch your career in writing, editing or publishing, this Editorial Assistant position offers you the opportunity to work with and learn from a talented team in Curriculum Development (CD). You will support the team with research and proofreading, as well as with administrative activities such as helping create PowerPoint presentations and coordinating webinars. Editorial Assistant is a great role for showcasing your potential; in fact, our goal is to engage you in writing (under direction) as early as possible so you can grow this talent. You'll join as CD is expanding into new areas in both content and delivery. To be a good fit for the Editorial Assistant opportunity, you will have: A bachelor's degree. Work experience in an office environment; this may be in an internship. Experience writing and / or editing documents would be a strong plus. Strong research, writing and editing skills, as well as excellent attention to detail. An interest in curriculum / training development; any education or training in this area is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the ability to create dynamic and visually appealing PowerPoint presentations.
