Details: Job: Nursing Mgmt & Admin POSITION GOAL:The Nursing Supervisor is responsible to the Director of Nursing systems for the quality of care provided during her/his shift, consistent with the philosophy, goals and objectives of both the hospital and nursing department. The Supervisor works closely with directors, physicians and staff to maintain smooth flow and patient satisfaction with care. The Supervisor coordinates managerial decisions with the Unit Directors and guides/supports the staff with clinical decisions to ensure high quality care is delivered at all times. Supervises the nursing courier and the bed control specialists. He/She is also the ranking administrator during nights, weekends and holidays and is authorized to act in the absence of the administrative staff.
