The hours for this position are Monday - Friday 7:30am-4:30pm. Compensation starts at $8.32 per hour and is commensurate with relevant experience and education. Direct Support Professional - West Kerley Corners - Tivoli, NY
Details: Will implement the daily operation of the assigned residence. Will implement ISP/IEP /Treatment Team goal methodologies and data collection.Will maintain mandated OPW/DD medication certification and will dispense medication as assigned. Will be prepared for and attend ITP and Treatment Team meetings. Ensures implementation of Treatment Team procedure. Will act as shift leader in the absence of the Residence Manager. Will be required to maintain van certification. This includes: participating in defensive driver classroom training, passing a written test, passing 2 road tests and updating a driver's abstract every two years. Will complete recreational lesson plans as required. Responsible for student / resident safety and supervision as well as ensuring student / resident rights. Completes monthly tracking on community intergration.
