The Direct Care Professional will oversee intellectually and developmentally disabled children & adults and partner with these individuals to facilitate daily care, enhance personal development, foster self-esteem and meet or exceed individualized goals for success. The hours for this position are Monday - Friday 7:30am-4:30pm. Compensation starts at $8.32 per hour and is commensurate with relevant experience and education. Details: Will implement the daily operation of the assigned residence. Will implement ISP/IEP /Treatment Team goal methodologies and data collection.Will maintain mandated OPW/DD medication certification and will dispense medication as assigned.  Will be prepared for and attend ITP and Treatment Team meetings.  Ensures implementation of Treatment Team procedure.  Will act as shift leader in the absence of the Residence Manager.  Will be required to maintain van certification.  This includes: participating in defensive driver classroom training, passing a written test, passing  2 road tests and  updating a driver's abstract  every  two years. Will complete recreational lesson plans as required.  Responsible for student / resident safety and supervision as well as ensuring student / resident rights.  Completes monthly tracking on community intergration.
